Our base is in the Old Port of Palamos (41º50,63' N – 03º07,45' E), in the centre of the Costa Brava . Palamós is exceptionally well located on the Catalan coast for a cruise of the Costa Brava (the Wild Coast ), from Blanes to the south all the way to Portbou at the north. If you have the experience, it is also an excellent starting point for a cruise to the Balearics, some 120 Nm distant. |

From the North, take the A-7 motorway to Exit 6 – Girona Nord, and then C-66 to La Bisbal and on to Palamos. The Old Port is to your left as you reach the sea.
From the South, also take the A-7 but to Exit 9a – Costa Brava and follow the C-35 until you reach Palamos (39Kms). It is sign-posted all the way. The Old Port is to your left as you reach the sea. |

Our office is located at Hotel Ancora, Josep Pla street , in the area called La Fosca at the village of Palamós . On arrival, you will find several road signs that will bring you to the Hotel. Our vessels' base is at Moll de Ponent in the Old Port , in the area for cruisers and administration and also at Club Nàutic Costa Brava in the Old Port , too. |

The nearest train station is in Girona. Besides it, you will find the bus station where there is a daily bus service Girona-Palamós carried out by the passengers transport firm Sarfa
(www.sarfa.com). The bus takes about 1 hour to get Palamós from Girona.
The closest airport is the Girona Airport , and there are now numerous low-cost flights there. We are always pleased to arrange transfers to and from the airport. Barcelona Airport is a slightly less convenient alternative, but has many more international flights.
1.- Girona Airport . Low rates with Ryanair airline. In connection with Frankfurt-Hann, Karlsruhe-Baden, Düsseldorf-Weeze, Eindhoven, London-Stansted, Liverpool, Bournemouth, Blackpool, Glasgow, Dublin, Shannon, Paris-Beauvais, Rome-Ciampino, Florence-Pisa, Venice-Treviso, Milan-Bergamo, Brussels . From Girona-Costa Brava airport until Palamós you can take a taxi or ask for our transfer service which will take you exactly to our base. This is a minibus service that can take up to 8 people at a time. The trip is 40 km. long and it usually takes 45 minutes.
2.- Barcelona Airport . Major national and international airlines. Take taxi, bus, or minibus to Palamós. From the Barcelona airport, you have two main options to travel to Palamós: 2.1.- Regular Bus line. You must go to Barcelona city. At the airport, take a train (economical option) to Arc de Triomf station, and look for the Barcelona Nord bus station, where several bus line companies are based. Look for SARFA (www.sarfa.es), the company that provides service to the Costa Brava , and buy a ticket. The trip takes 2 hours approximately. You can also arrive at Barcelona Nord by taxi from the airport. The time and the price will depend on traffic. 2.2.- Transfer by minibus. An interesting option is to ask us for the transfer service from Barcelona airport to Palamós. Approximate price is 190€ and it is a minibus service that can take up to 8 people at a time. The trip takes 1h20m. Please, ask for information. - Access by Bus: From Girona (1 hour) and from Barcelona (2 hours). SARFA bus company give bus service to Palamós. Barcelona bus station: ‘Estació del Nord', near ‘Arc de Triomf'. Girona bus station: ‘Estació d'autobusos', behind railway station. More info in www.sarfa.com. Approx. 15 € per person from Barcelona .
- Access by minibus: Ask us about our minibus service from where you were to Palamós. It is necessary to book the minibus in advance. Approx. 190 € from Barcelona and 100 € from Girona. |
